To install the smart lock, usually your door are required to have minimum 4mm (recommend: 5mm) to install the striker plate. The function of striker plate is to cover the unnecessary holes and also to fit your door without big shaking.
We have provided the door trimming service, our doorsmith can trim your door to increase the door gap and fix the minor door alignment issues.
